Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a stellar Project Manager in the product management team to take ownership and drive the product schedules from product kick-off to mass production.  In this role, you will be collaborating closely with product management team, and monitor the schedule and collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the product meets the aggressive go-to-market timing, improve cost-efficiency, reduce aging inventory, and setting up BOM structure. Additionally, you will lead in cross-functional meetings to resolve complex technical issues, ensuring product excellence and control go-to-market schedule.

This position will be located in the headquarters San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Lead cross-functional teams by planning, scheduling, and maintaining on-track milestones for new system projects. 
• Manage and oversee phase-gate product development from Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT, to MP.
• Conduct and execute product ECOs and PCNs. 
• Communicate cross-functionally regarding build risks and submitting PR request for material planning and pull-in. 
• Provide accurate and thorough reporting for: daily project progress/issues to upper management, production and  RMA track records (failure rates) for each project

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline, or equivalent preferred.
• 5 years of server product life cycle development and management required.
• Strong knowledge of server architecture and key component is preferred
• Experience working in fast-paced and team environment, ability to adapt to changes quickly
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills, able to lead and complete project under pressure and meeting aggressive deadline

Salary Range

$89,000 - $150,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
