Job Summary:

The Project Manager in Supermicro will be responsible for developing Marketing tools in support of sales initiatives, drive new technology knowledge transfer to sales representatives, support Intel IIP, MDF and innovation fund projects, provide statistical analysis to support potential markets such as Telco's NFV and SDN to drive Supermicro solutions into these new developing technical arenas and deliver marketing support as needed. The Project Manager will have solid experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, partnering with the field sales organization, and have the ability to manage physician relationships and develop key opinion leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Collaborative prioritization with sales team

• Collect requirements

• Communicate with stakeholders

• Develop and maintain issue logs and identify key resolutions for issues/tasks at hand

• Work closely with stakeholders to track and manage program efforts

• Create, maintain and monitor program activity reports and metrics

• Process improvement projects

• Drive and/or support the Intel programs including Innovation funding, IIP and MDF

• Provide Supermicro technical customer presentations

• Develop and maintain process documentation

• Monitor program activity and follow up with stakeholders

• Create and monitor project reports for program managers, proactively identifying and communicating potential issues with plan executions

• Collaborate frequently and closely with the team to ensure program activities and project tasks are executed on time

• Coordinate distributions in accordance with program management policy

• Point of contact for stakeholders which may include both internal and external customers


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields and with Master’s degree is preferred

• 5 years’ experience as a leader of cross-functional teams, ideally in hardware and software solution product management and marketing preferred

• Strong analytical, marketing and project management skills - a drive for results and a history of successful execution on projects

• Strong communication, problem solving, and managerial skills to interface with cross-functional teams

• Ability to develop business relationships from scratch, both internal and external to Supermicro

• Highly analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, good team player, Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently exceed objectives and improve processes

• The ability to create technical presentations (PPT) and present to potential customer accounts in a professional environment with enthusiasm for a quality sales approach in support to international sales teams

• Knowledge of server/workstation hardware business models

Salary Range

$90,000 - $130,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
