Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for a Quality Control Engineer to work in our Quality team. In this role you will use data analysis techniques to identify trends, monitor data, and discover quality related issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
- Monitor quality data from RMA, Production, Service, and Tech Support teams to identify, investigate, and troubleshoot issues
- Identify trends and priorities from internal systems data and create reports based on your findings
- Self-starter, seeks opportunities to improve processes, quality, and overall efficiency
- Review internal processes and collaborate with cross functional teams to implement improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in hardware quality related fields, preferably server hardware
- Understanding in x86 servers and its components
- Strong statistical and data analytics skills - statistical process control and sampling methods
- Data driven and results oriented approach to problem solving, failure analysis techniques
Salary Range
$62,000 - $133,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
