This position works directly with multiple teams to support the development and implementation of a proactive Management System (MS). This includes the creation, training, deployment, auditing, and maintenance of the global Supermicro Quality and Environmental Managements Systems. Modify, update, and maintain records and documentation pertaining to site certification under ISO 9001 / 13485 / 14001. This position will be responsible for maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems, including planning and coordinating the internal audit and external / third party audits. The Quality Systems Specialist will play a key role in the internal auditing of the MS to assure compliance to internal systems, third party organizations and customer quality standards. The Quality Systems Specialist will also participate and contribute through team functions such as deviations, annual Q/EMS review, Corrective Action / Preventative Action (CAPA), complaint handling, document control system, internal audits, external audits, and training of employees.
Job included but not limited to:
- Participate and support Out of Specification (OOS) investigations, deviations, CAPA, document control systems, internal audits, external audits, and training of employees.
- Act as audit guide for internal audits, third party audits, customer audits, and any required quality system audit.
- Drive closure of corrective and preventive actions, e.g. customer complaints, internal/external audit findings, to ensure implementation and effectiveness of change.
- Develop audit plan, conduct quality / environmental audit, prepare audit reports and communicate findings, including compliance to regulatory, third party, customer standards and continuous improvement.
- Lead internal audits according to plan and assist the internal audit team to ensure compliances.
- Gather data, perform gap assessments and assist with the maintenance, tracking, reporting, and closure of identified gaps for the MS.
- Assist in reviewing, updating and publishing of Quality Procedures, work instructions, and forms as required to maintain compliance with international standards and company specific requirements.
- Modify, update, and maintain records and documentation pertaining to local site MS.
- Deliver training for internal auditors.
- Various other duties as assigned.
- Must have a Bachelor Degree, preferable in the Sciences / Engineering
- Must be proficient in technical writing and have excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Previous experience in computer industry with established ISO Quality / Environmental Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO13485, and AS9100) including CAPA, Internal Audits, Training, Nonconformity, or Complaint Handling is preferred.
- ISO Auditor certification preferred
- Proficient in PC applications including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
