Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a highly-experienced, successful and proven Sales Manager to sell Supermicro's broad portfolio of server solutions to large enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise in managing end-to-end sales processes involving complex, multi-portfolio, large deals. The Sales Manager must have strong, credible and professional working relationships with C-Level executives at both current and past customers, plus the ability to create similar synergies with net new accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent and sell the entire Supermicro portfolio of products and services to large enterprise customers.
  • Researches and understands the client's industry. Deeply understands client business strategies and challenges.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to C-level decision makers, while aggressively shaping deals early in the sales cycle.
  • Demonstrates depth of knowledge in aligning Supermicro capabilities to customer business and IT priorities, as well as positioning relative to competitors.
  • Builds and executes a pipeline that includes both transactional and strategic initiatives to grow Supermicro's presence and share in the account.
  • Actively drives pipeline results through effective account management and pricing.
  • Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual revenue and margin quotas.
  • Qualifies and closes large deals of moderate to high complexity and cross-GBU scope.


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience preferably in high tech industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct, full-cycle sales experience selling HPC servers, storage, or other computer hardware technology to enterprise preferred.
  • Previous experience in working with Supermicro partners is preferred: Nvidia, Intel, AMD.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills within maintaining and executing pipeline.
  • Proven track record of building relationships with C-level decision makers.
  • Experience entering, tracking and reporting data on lead activity.
  • Consistent track record of meeting of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Must have strong MS Excel and Outlook proficiency.

Salary Range

$97,000 - $140,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
