Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to provide operational, administrative, and sales process support to the Strategic Business Development team. This role serves as a critical coordinator between sales, customers, partners, operations, finance, legal, and executive leadership, ensuring smooth execution of business activities and large strategic opportunities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, experience with CRM and sales operations processes, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Operations Support
- Support Strategic Business Development Managers and Account Executives with daily sales activities.
- Maintain and update customer records, opportunities, forecasts, and account information within Salesforce and internal systems.
- Ensure all lead registrations, opportunity approvals, and deal documentation are accurately submitted and tracked.
- Generate regular sales reports, dashboards, and management summaries.
Opportunity Management
- Coordinate internal approval processes for pricing, discounts, lead registrations, special approvals, and strategic opportunities.
- Track opportunity progress and ensure timely follow-up with internal stakeholders.
- Assist with proposal preparation, quotations, presentations, and customer documentation.
- Support contract routing and documentation management with legal and finance teams.
Customer and Partner Coordination
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, meeting coordination, and administrative requests.
- Schedule executive briefings, customer meetings, partner engagements, and internal reviews.
- Coordinate communications among customers, partners, distributors, and internal teams.
Executive and Administrative Support
- Prepare executive presentations, business reviews, account summaries, and management reports.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and event support for sales leadership.
- Organize customer visits, executive meetings, and strategic workshops.
Process Improvement and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal sales policies, approval workflows, and documentation requirements.
- Support CRM data quality initiatives and sales process optimization.
- Assist with audit requests, reporting requirements, and business operations projects.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years of experience in sales administration, sales operations, business operations, customer support, or related functions.
• Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting enterprise technology, cloud, AI infrastructure, telecommunications, or data center organizations.
• Knowledge of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and deal registration processes.
• Experience working with global teams and cross-functional organizations.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and reporting tools.
Salary Range
$75,000 - $85,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
