Job Summary:

We are looking for a Sr. Debug Engineer to debug and to support customer and other internal departments for solving computer system issues. In this role, you will work with other departments and provide solutions for the issues and product quality improvement. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Intel low level debugging. Experience using Intel Target Probe (ITP) tool is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose the root cause of computer system failure and isolate the components/failure nodes
  • Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies and provide remedy for catastrophic failure events
  • Motherboard power rails (sequences) timing measurement to improve product quality
  • Develop and publish test reports and communicate findings to other team members
  • Improve testing techniques/procedures for analyzing system failure data efficiently


  • BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with minimum 8+ years of working experience
  • Must have experience with industry server system and minimum 3+ years of experience in design/debug
  • Familiar with Python programming languages and Linux OS
  • Familiarity with Vendor debug tools such as ITP/JTAG is a plus
  • Familiarity with key X86 platform bus protocols will be an added advantage
  • Strong lab and debug skills are required, including experience working with and analyzing output from test equipment such as the ITP, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers
  • Familiarity with circuit and layout with high-speed and power design experience
  • Experience with soldering iron is a plus
