Job Summary:

This position brings industry perspective to formulate plans and strategies balancing capability, performance, cost and reliability. As a member of the lT team, the Senior Technical Program Manager role is influential in the planning process, and priority trade-off decisions, driving innovation and ensuring enterprise architectural synergy.

 

Reporting to the Director of Cloud Transformation & Infrastructure services, this role is responsible for effectively partnering with business, functional and other IT teams in managing and advancing the global enabling technology infrastructure for Supermicro. This includes creating the technology roadmap to enable people, process, user experience, product and operations digital capabilities in addition to operating the environment ensuring operational performance goals are achieved. The enabling technology infrastructure includes Compute, Networks, Storage, virtualization, DevOps, Cloud transformation, Collaboration, IT services and Data Center environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leadership experience in Information Technology
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time, delivering expected business results
  • Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture, technical design, and operational technology
  • Experience and knowledge in Project Management to deliver infrastructure projects to meet commitments
  • Proven track record of IT Infrastructure operational management creating clear accountabilities and metrics
  • Experience with on-premises and cloud technologies and environments to achieve business results
  • Contributes to the creation of a high-performance culture through effective leadership and collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Run and investment delivery using partners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience
  • 8+ years in data center technologies or related operations and management experience
  • Working knowledge in understanding Infrastructure Architectureframeworks and principles on securitynetworkssystems, equipment and resources
  • Knowledge with corporate, industry and professional standards, policies, regulations, compliance and codes of conduct associated with the role
  • Good coordination, organization, communication and customer service skills

Salary Range: $142,000 - $180,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
