Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the promotion and sales of Supermicro server solutions and value directly to customers. This promotion solution manager position will be a leader in technology to create aggressive go-to-market plans and promote to internal teams and customers. In addition, this position is a core member of the System PM team and engages in server technical, marketing, and pre/post-sales support activities. Occasion travels for industry exhibitions may be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned)
• Build and maintain a network of business relationships, including the executive management of clients, prospects, and other referral resources
• Explore new business opportunities and promote in-house system solutions
• Ability to present the corporate brand, product messaging, and solutions to sales and customers
• Partner closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure the product roadmap is competitive in the market

• Identify the latest market trends and provide insights to the product development team. Create market requirement document and conduct market survey
• Develop and deliver a clear strategy and partner closely with marketing, engineering, and business development to provide complete system solutions to customers
• Ensure customer overall satisfaction and collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve clients' issues or concerns in a timely manner.
• Provide engaging solution training to internal organizations, partners, resellers, and end customers. Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and has the ability to make PowerPoint slides aesthetically pleasing

• Work with marketing to create promotional materials. Finding new ways to approach more potential audiences.

Qualifications:

• BS in EE / CS with 5+ years relevant work experience server industry is preferable

• Strong understanding of server market trends and Supermicro customer needs
• Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills
• Demonstrates understanding of how to successfully work in cross-functional organizations and impact schedules
• Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
• Creative thinker, to develop new strategies and solutions

•  Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

•  Comfortable in front of a group of audience

• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written

Salary Range

$89,000 - $150,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
