Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will report to the Senior Accounting Manager. This position's primary roles will be responsible for company’s lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842, preparing month end accruals and assisting Sr. Accounting Manager with reviewing and posting certain journal entries. This individual has the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Great interpersonal skills, excellent English verbal and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, ability to follow procedures accurately, strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare month-end/quarter-end accrual journal entries related to various accounting areas
  • Perform monthly account reconciliation for balance sheet accounts including ROU assets, Operating lease, inventory in-transit, accrued expenses, etc.
  • Perform monthly contract reviews for new leases and modified leases in accordance with ASC 842, assess incremental borrowing rate, update amortization schedules and record monthly ROU entries.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly flux analysis for certain balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Prepare certain disclosure schedules for 10-Q and10-K reports filed with the SEC
  • Review and post JE entries prepared by AP team staff
  • Assist in quarterly financial review and annual audit with external auditors
  • Assist with various ad-hoc reporting or financial related projects
  • Assist in development and implementation of processes and procedures to enhance team


  • B.S. or B.A in Accounting or Finance (CPA and Big 4 experience preferred)
  • Strong GAAP accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 8+ years of accounting and/or auditing with exposure to accounting/financial reporting from Fortune 500 or high growth firm in the high-tech manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of MS Offices and SAP
  • Must be very detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to effectively communicate, including written and oral, with Accounting, IT Resources, and Operations, across all levels of the organization
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • The ability to sustain productivity in a fast-paced environment, maintain composure and focus under pressure and deadline
