Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to expand strategic relationships and drive market growth within hyperscaler, enterprise, and global data center accounts. This role is responsible for supporting business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities, and expanding Supermicro's presence across key markets for server and infrastructure solutions.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of server and data center infrastructure technologies, experience working with enterprise or hyperscale customers, and a strong network within the industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business development strategies focused on hyperscaler, enterprise, and global data center customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities across server, storage, AI, and data center infrastructure solutions.
• Develop target account plans and support market expansion initiatives within strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with internal sales teams to develop opportunities and support successful customer engagements.
• Work closely with ecosystem partners, channel partners, and strategic alliances to expand market reach and customer adoption.
• Position Supermicro’s solutions by highlighting innovation, customization, workload-optimized performance, and total cost of ownership advantages.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to identify new growth opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, channel, marketing, product, and technical teams to support business objectives.
• Prepare and present business updates, pipeline activity, and market intelligence as needed.
• Travel approximately 50%, including domestic and international travel, particularly within APAC regions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of Business Development experience within server, data center infrastructure, enterprise IT, or related technology markets.
• Strong knowledge of server technologies and data center infrastructure solutions.
• Strong network and established relationships within hyperscaler, enterprise, and global data center organizations.
• Experience building and managing customer relationships to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Experience working with ecosystem partners, channel partners, and strategic alliances.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with AI infrastructure, AI data centers, or accelerated computing environments is a plus.
• Established network within APAC markets and experience working across global regions is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

 

Salary Range

$111,000 - $178,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
