Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently looking for a Sr. Director, Marketing who will be responsible for executing global go-to-market strategies and ensuring alignment with all key stakeholders within the company.  This individual will also be responsible for building compelling messaging, and partnering with Product Management group to develop and execute comprehensive and integrated marketing plans, and deliver the appropriate tools and materials to support internal and external marketing executions globally. The ideal candidate must understand the server/storage hardware market and have the ability to internalize our technical product strategy and synthesize it into partner-facing, relevant value propositions and content.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and developing strategic marketing plans aligned with the company's objectives.
• Craft and implementing long-term strategies for global field and event marketing.
• Execute marketing plans and managing localized content.
• Oversee advertising initiatives and budget management.
• Collaborate with various marketing functions such as product management, press relations, and digital marketing teams.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in computer hardware business with hands-on experience
• Server/storage experience is a plus
• CS/EE degree or equivalent plus 10+ years of experience in Server/Storage or related technology field
• 12+ years of experience in managing events, customer relationship or vendor management
• Ability to handle cross-department communication and make informed decisions to grow with the business
• Must be able to make independent decisions and provide recommendations to engineering and product management
• Self-motivated
• Multi-lingual is a plus

Salary Range

$238,000 - $273,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
