Job Summary:

As a Senior IT System Architect at Supermicro, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business objectives with technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with business units and stakeholders to analyze, document, and translate complex functional and non-functional requirements into clear system specifications and user stories. Leveraging your expertise, you will evaluate existing systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend strategic IT enhancements. Partnering with project managers and technical teams, you will support solution design, testing, deployment, and change management, ensuring successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will conduct feasibility studies, assist in vendor evaluations, and maintain thorough documentation to support informed decision-making. Effective communication and facilitation skills are essential as you act as a key liaison between business and IT stakeholders, leading workshops and presentations to drive alignment and project success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed system requirements and user stories for development teams.
  • Evaluate existing processes and systems; identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements using IT solutions.
  • Partner with Project Managers and technical teams to support solution design, testing, deployment, and change management.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis of proposed solutions.
  • Assist in vendor and product evaluations when applicable.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation including business cases, process maps, system specs, and user manuals.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven experience working on enterprise IT projects (e.g., ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, digital transformation).
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies.
  • Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Project, Visio, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Experience in corporate functions such as Finance, Sales, HR, Supply Chain, or Legal.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range

 $140,00 - $156,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
