Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking a top-notch hands-on Linux Administrator and DevOps Engineer specializing in maintaining Server Infrastructure. We are seeking to automate the Build and Provisioning process. You will Create, deploy and manage the infrastructure and tooling using Automated processes to support our Engineering teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- In this role you will lead the design , development, and deployment of scalable and efficient systems. You will specialize in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for Linux OS.
- You will be responsible to develop, configure, build, and maintain the DevOps Environment
- Requires deep understanding of Linux System administration and developing baseline OS installs
- Automate the software build, installing, provisioning, and administering of RHEL/Rocky/Ubuntu/Debian Server Systems
- Provide support and guidance to team members
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- 10+ years developing and implementing best practices for Linux servers. Working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems administration
- Detailed understanding of Redfish/IPMI
- 5+ years proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python. Experience using Git for codebase maintenance
- Experience with server/network hardware debugging and troubleshooting
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining CI/CD configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of large scale systems using tools like Jenkins, Robot framework, and Ansible
- 5+ years of experience with maintaining and configuring Apache and nginx. Experience with maintaining and configuring postfix
- Experience writing cloud-init and kickstart configurations from scratch
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong Problem Solving and excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with Intel/AMD/NVIDIA development tool kits such as CUDA, ROCm is a plus
- Knowledge of network equipment management (Cisco, Mellanox, etc.)
- Basic networking /firewall understanding and familiarity with security protocols, firewalls, SSL certificates, and web-based technologies
Salary Range
$125,000 - $160,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
