Job Summary:

Supermicro Computer is looking for experienced Project Manager in the rack solutions team to lead a team of project managers. The individual must have good data center knowledge and good experience working with both customers and suppliers. The ideal candidate would need to have the ability to work with cross-function teams and handle large and complex projects from design to delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Lead a team of project managers and is responsible for managing all projects for the rack solution team
• Work with sales, FAE teams to understand customer requirements and project scopes
• Work with PMs and design engineers to come up with design proposals and delivery plans.
• Communicate with purchasing teams and key suppliers to prepare materials for customer projects 
• Work with integration team and production line on prototyping as well as mass production timeline 
• Oversee customer projects, control project schedules and provide daily or weekly status reports
• Join or host customer meetings as well internal meetings to discuss project status
• Work with operation team to streamline processes and achieve best efficiency 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 12+ years of experience in project management or program management
•  Understand of data center infrastructure and deployment
• Exceptional communication and presentation skill is a must, able to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers

Salary Range

$191,000 - $209,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
