Job Summary:

The Senior Solution Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of server rack integration operations. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the seamless integration of server racks in accordance with organizational goals and quality standards. The Senior Solution Manager will play a critical role in driving efficiency, productivity, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the production process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Train, mentor, and motivate team members to optimize their performance and foster a positive work environment
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development
• Develop comprehensive production plans and schedules, taking into account customer demands, resource availability, and production capacity
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, procurement, and quality control, to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize productivity and efficiency
• Oversee the integration process of server racks, including hardware installation, cable management, and configuration
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper alignment of components, compatibility, and adherence to design specifications
• Monitor project budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization to achieve profitability targets
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce waste, and increase overall operational efficiency
• Monitor vendor performance, conduct periodic evaluations, and address any issues or concerns that may arise
• Implement quality control procedures and inspections at various stages of production
• Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on production operations
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to senior management for strategic decision-making
• Stay updated with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices related to server rack integration.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders regarding project status, progress, and any potential issues or delays
• Monitor customer feedback and implement measures to enhance customer satisfaction and product quality

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, production management) or equivalent work experience preferred
• 12+ years of proven experience in a production management role, preferably in server rack integration or related field is highly desirable
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
• In-depth knowledge of server rack integration processes, hardware installation, and cabling
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
• Solid understanding of quality control principles and experience implementing quality management systems
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in using production management software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite

Salary Range

   $198,000 - $214,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
