Job Summary:
Be a Key Player in Product Development: As a Sr. Product Manager, you will directly contribute to Supermicro's flagship system management software, helping to ensure high-quality, innovative products for our customers.
Support Cutting-Edge Technology: Your work will be at the forefront of Data Center infrastructure, working with servers, GPU servers, storage systems, and more, in a rapidly evolving field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Work closely with customers, sales, and Solution Architects to define and refine the specifications of the products, validate reference architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams within Supermicro to ensure the products meet the expectations of external clients
• Communicate with customers, technical questions/concerns
• Collaborate with the development team to drive end-user stories
• Drive IT transformation and innovation in the industry
• This position will require travel; periodically visit with customers and attend trade shows
• Promote and manage software solutions through entire product lifecycle
• Analyze market and business trends, develop tactics and programs to grow market share through strategically positioned Supermicro server products to maximize competitiveness
• Lead research and analysis of technology, customer, and competitor trends to develop platform portfolio strategy and roadmap
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to represent voice of the customer and field in planning
• Identify, prioritize, and address requirements of enterprise customers for existing and emerging use cases with evolving datacenter deployment considerations
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive NPI and go-to market roadmap execution
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master's degree in CE/CS/EE or equivalent with at least 8+ years hands-on experience in data center/server related fields
• Strong working knowledge of Redfish, Swordfish and Intel RSD framework
• In-depth knowledge of disaggregated Infrastructure constructs - Strong knowledge of BaaS, MaaS IaaS
• Deep understanding of day 1 and day 2 Data Center operations
• Strong Working knowledge of DC-Edge Cloud Architecture
• Ability to work independently under aggressive timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
• Networking certification, such as CCNA
• Working knowledge of Ansible and familiarity with Cisco Intersight, Dell OME, or HP OneView
• Knowledge of Nvidia GPU, Intel, or AMD processor families
• Familiarity with REST API interfaces and Kubernetes/OpenShift/OpenStack
Salary Range
$162,000 - $182,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
