Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a (Sr.) Production Test Engineer who will be responsible for operating the raw material Incoming Quality Control (IQC) team to ensure incoming materials meet Supermicro and industry standards. The ideal candidate will be capable of tracking and analyzing complex data, and maintain quality metrics from incoming materials, as well as, recommend a corporate quality project/improvement plan, control standards and effectively implement at an operational level for both in-house manufacturing factories and supply chain sources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Manage the raw material IQC team, and maintain incoming material meet quality and specification compliant

• Responsible for maintaining supplier quality level

• Audit and evaluate suppliers routinely

• Support QA team to solve and take counter-measure to customer quality issue

• Report to upper management on the performance of raw component quality system and any need for improvement

• Review the inspection systems, and constantly seeking for any opportunity for improvement

• Coordinate with related department to improve internal quality issue and/or customer quality issue which was induced by raw material quality

• Support quality management system to meet ISO requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields

• Minimum 8 years of related experience in Production related field

• Knowledge of ISO or any other quality system

• Good attitude, leadership, inter-personal and strong organizational skills and work under pressure

• Good problem solving skill and counter-measure report and action taken

• Good English communication skill with excellent writing and demonstrated expertise in procedures and document

Salary Range

$128,000 - $160,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
