Job Summary:

This position will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and processes through the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of our Integrate Management System (IMS). We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in quality and environmental management systems, or equivalent. This position will work directly with multiple teams to support the development and implementation of a proactive Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Information Security Management System (ISMS). This includes the creation, training, deployment, auditing, and maintenance of the global Supermicro Quality and Environmental Managements Systems. Modify, update, and maintain records and documentation pertaining to site certification under ISO 9001 / 13485 / 14001 / 27001.
The Quality Systems Analyst will be responsible for the local site's Integrated Management System (e.g., QMS, EMS, ISMS, etc.).

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) (e.g., quality, environmental, etc.) to ensure compliance with international, regulatory, and other requirements, as well as company standards.
  • Plan, conduct, and report audits and assessments of the IMS to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to the standards. This includes corrective action issuance, verification and closure.
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures (QPs), work instruction procedures (WIPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the IMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality and / or environmental issues.
  • Participate in the review and approval of document change requests related to the IMS.
  • Monitor and analyze department key process indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the IMS.
  • Stay current with industry regulations and best practices related to quality, environmental and related systems, and make recommendations for incorporating new requirements.
  • Train employees on the IMS and ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Serve as a point of contact for IMS related inquiries and provide guidance and support to colleagues across the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and certifying bodies, to ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and other standards.
  • Participate in internal and external audits related to the IMS.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to the IMS.
  • Identify and escalate potential compliance and other risks to management.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support external audits by the Notified Body, other regulatory bodies and third-party auditors.
  • Execute and complete projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required and minimum 8 years (or a Master’s degree with minimum 6 years) of relevant experience in quality, environmental and other management systems in manufacturing and / or high-tech industry preferred.
  • Experience in developing and leading quality and environmental management system audits in the semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.
  • Working knowledge of ISO International Standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, AS9100, TS16949, etc.
  • Influence management skills; demonstrated ability to work constructively across all functions of the organization, including with customers and suppliers.
  • Strong communication and presentations skills (articulate and persuasive).\Sound organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills, including data analysis and reporting using, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management (risk assessment tools such as FMEA, fault tree, etc.) and KPI (Key Process Indicators).

Salary Range

$95,000 - $115,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
