Job Summary:

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Sr. Sales Manager responsible for successfully expanding Supermicro's customer base in targeted areas. Sr. Sales Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the quality, efficiency, and integrity of Supermicro's sales process through various means of marketing activities and working with cross functional teams - including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs. In this position, you will be building and maintaining the relationship with major enterprise clients for developing opportunity pipelines. In addition, you will lead and influence customers to build and grow their data center by using Supermicro's products and services. 

This position will be located in the headquarters located in San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Represent and sell the entire Super Micro portfolio of products and services to large enterprise customers

• Establishes a high level of personal credibility as a trusted advisor to key client decision makers

• Researches and understands the client's industry. Deeply understands client business strategies and challenges

• Demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning Super Micro capabilities to client business and IT priorities, and positioning relative to competitors

• Successfully manage all client requirements and requests – constant visit to clients’ site

• Produces forecast and reports on a regular basis

• Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual revenue and margin quotas. Uses margin management techniques

• Orchestrates all Super Micro resources and sponsorship essential for executing the account business plan

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred

• 8 years of successful enterprise IT Sales account management experience is strongly desirable

• Strong relationships with executive level at enterprise accounts

• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of servers, storage, applications, and network products and solutions – highly familiar with its industry

• Ability to work well on a team, to effectively motivate internal and external team members
