Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking a talented Solution Engineer with great attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability to join our software team. You will be responsible for examining all aspects of the Software/Firmware/products/applications/solutions and provide detailed analysis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in issue review sessions with cross-functional teams including PMs, FAEs, service teams, and customers.
- Ensure resolution of customer issues aligns with the scheduled timeline.
- Ensure continuous testing coverage for top-priority projects through global team collaboration.
- Perform IPMI, Redfish, BIOS, and software tools validation.
- Perform software user interface, functional, and stress tests.
- Execute software automation.
- Provide feedback to the design team to improve product quality.
- Utilize analytical skills to validate and verify software/system issues.
- Create detailed evaluation test reports.
- Perform ad-hoc testing on Gold SKU and OEM systems.
- Enforce software quality control standards.
- Maintain the standards set by the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering); Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Familiarity with statistical concepts, including model evaluation metrics, forecasting methodologies, and confidence intervals.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques. Looker preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, particularly for senior audiences.
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects.
Salary Range
$120,000 - $142,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
