Job Summary:

We are seeking a fulltime Staff Firmware Engineer to assist in the development of embedded products. The candidate must be able to lead other engineers in the team, work closely with other teams to achieve the goal. The qualified individual will be responsible for problem solving, bug fixing, task definitions, assignments and schedules for the design among priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Lead the firmware engineering projects and development
• Responsible for developing, testing, delivering, documenting, and maintaining Linux/Windows application, driver for server and storage system
• Develop Linux/Windows application, driver code, and debugging/troubleshooting potential issues
• Work closely with research and design team members and validation team members
• Responsible for all software and firmware related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program

Qualifications:

• BS in EE/CC/CE is required. MS in EE/CS/CE is a plus
• Minimum 12+ years of firmware experience preferred
• Minimum 5+ years working experience in Linux/Windows Programming
• Strong programming skills in C, familiar with ARM-based assembly language is required
• Extensive experience in BMC SW development is must.
• Windows device driver development experience is a plus
• Experience on real implementation of dynamic root of trust management is required
• Must be very comfortable writing multi-threaded applications
• Experience with motherboard and server architecture
• Self-motivated engineer who can follow a project through with minimal supervision
• Work closely with vendor in product integration, debug and problem resolution per spec and customer requirement
• Guiding and mentoring junior engineers, as needed

Salary Range

$170,000 - $208,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
