Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking talented Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for developing world class software to fully maximize the strong hardware architecture of in-house servers. We are looking for talented individuals who enjoy creating firmware for products, prototyping concepts, and investigating in new technologies. In this position, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust Software/Firmware products.

What You'll Do:

🚀 Technology Frontier Leadership

  • Champion next-generation computing ecosystems by leading Nvidia certification and system qualification initiatives
  • Spearhead Redfish standards development, defining industry compliance roadmaps
  • Research and integrate emerging technologies, positioning our solutions at the technological forefront

 

💡 Software Engineering & Innovation

  • Design and implement sophisticated software development processes with continuous integration/deployment
  • Drive high-performance testing strategies, including innovative "testing-in-production" methodologies
  • Develop scalable software solutions for complex object storage environments

🤝 Strategic Collaboration

  • Bridge technical and business domains by translating complex requirements into actionable engineering strategies
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with external technology partners
  • Engage cross-functionally with product managers, customer technical teams, and operations groups

Salary Range

$170,000 - $200,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
