Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Tax Analyst. This position will assist with various business and corporate initiatives, including multi-state sales and use tax compliance, managing sales and use tax audit and VDA process, initiation of changes and improvements to internal process, as well as SAP implementation for sales and use tax function. This position will be a member of the Finance team in the company's headquarters located in San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/review monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns
  • Prepare/review tax liability account reconciliations
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to advise on issues related to sales and use tax
  • Assist with resolving state tax audit and managing VDA process
  • Research sales and use tax issues using Checkpoint on-line and state websites and communicate sales tax law changes to the business as relevant
  • Assist in SAP implementation for sales and use tax function
  • Special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance and related field preferred
  • MST is preferred
  • CPA certification or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years sales tax experience, we will provide training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management
  • Experience with SAP strongly desired
  • Solid research and excel skills

Salary Range: $67,000 - $134,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
