Why This Role Matters

  • Create Impactful Documentation: You will be responsible for writing and revising technical manuals, quick reference guides, and other essential product documentation that support our server, motherboard, and chassis products.
  • Communicate Complex Concepts Clearly: Your writing will ensure that both technical and non-technical audiences can easily understand complex engineering concepts and solutions.
  • Support Product Excellence: Your work will help ensure that the technical documentation for our products is clear, accurate, and up-to-date, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and product success.

What You'll Do

  • Technical Writing: Write, revise, and create user manuals, quick reference guides, and other product-related documentation for servers, motherboards, and chassis.
  • Collaborative Development: Work with management, technical personnel, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders across various departments to define documentation content, guidelines, and schedules.
  • Editing and Quality Assurance: Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and meets organizational quality standards. You will also perform substantive editing to maintain document organization.
  • Style Guide Management: Ensure all documents follow appropriate style guidelines, and develop documentation templates and style guides as needed.
  • Multimedia and Tool Integration: Utilize tools like MadCap Flare, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and MS Project to enhance documentation and ensure effective communication.

What You'll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: BA in English, Technical Writing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical writing, including writing technical documentation, release notes, and other materials for hardware products and solutions.
  • Tools Expertise: Proficiency in MadCap Flare; familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and consistently to different audiences.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and manage concurrent projects effectively.

Salary Range

$66,560 - $117,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
