Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Transfer Pricing Manager. The ideal candidate will work with a dynamic finance team to perform a variety of tax functions including developing, implementing, documenting, and defending the company's global transfer pricing policies across manufacturing, intellectual property, supply chain, services, and financing transactions.  He/she is responsible to ensure meeting all filing tax deadlines and reporting requirements accurately. The candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. This position will be a member of the Finance team in the company’s headquarters located in San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited To

• Manage the preparation and review of global transfer pricing documentation, including Master file, Local files, Country by Country Reporting, and Benchmarking studies

• Coordinate with external advisors and local finance teams to meet global compliance requirements

• Maintain transfer pricing policies and procedures across all jurisdictions

• Monitor intercompany transaction results and perform periodic transfer pricing true-ups

• Analyze transfer pricing implications of new products, business expansions, and operational changes

• Collaborate with the international tax team on GILTI, Subpart F, Foreign Tax Credits, Pillar Two, Form 5471 reporting and E&P calculations

• Evaluate tax implications of legal entity restructuring and cross-border transactions.

• Lead transfer pricing audit defense efforts with IRS; Foreign tax authorities; External advisors

• Assist in other tax projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance and related field, Master of Taxation is preferred
  • CPA is required
  • 8 plus years of transfer pricing experience with minimum 3 years of public accounting and/or industry
  • Strong knowledge of US Federal tax laws, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines as well as US GAAP and accounting principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Excellent Excel skills

Salary Range

​$125,000 - $162,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
