Job Summary:

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is looking for a Vice President, Investor Relations for our HQ located in San Jose, CA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a cohesive and comprehensive IR program that clearly communicates strategy and growth opportunities
  • Develop and execute a global outreach plan to target and attract long-term investors, expand and maintain key holder ownership positions, and keep the financial community current on company progress, growth strategies, and industry developments
  • Manage and expand sell-side relationships
  • Engage management team to participate in investor outreach activities
  • Develop, maintain and update our Investor Narrative to help executive management and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and well-supported messaging
  • Prepare all key materials and presentations to communicate financial performance, business conditions, and company strategy
  • Proactively monitor Wall Street consensus estimates and equity research to minimize gaps between the company performance and investor expectations. 
  • Maintain internal financial models similarly used by sell side analysts
  • Collaboration with Marketing and Comms to ensure consistent messaging on branding and strategy
  • Manage, develop, inspire and motivate one or more subordinate team members


  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA highly desirable
  • Proven finance executive with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong relationships with the investment community
  • Ability to work on and positively influence multi-disciplinary teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to be hands-on and juggle multiple projects
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Up to 25-50% travel may be required
