Job Summary:
The Director of Production Quality is responsible for overseeing and driving product quality across production operations. This role ensures continuous improvement through data-driven analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and standardized processes to deliver high-quality products and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead production quality performance and drive continuous improvement across operations.
- Analyze internal and external quality data to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Establish and maintain quality standards, procedures, and process controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and enhance processes.
- Manage new product site transfer process and new product introduction, collaborate with cross-function team to secure the new product quality.
- Manage customer quality issues, audits, and RMA feedback to ensure timely resolution and satisfaction.
- Oversee supplier quality, incoming quality control (IQC), and equipment calibration compliance.
- Monitor field product quality and drive global feedback into improvement actions.
- Lead, develop, and manage the quality team to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field; Diploma holders with relevant experience and proven capability may be considered if they meet job expectations.
- Preferable around 10 years of experience in manufacturing or production quality, with around 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and methodologies (e.g., ISO standards, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Proven experience in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and continuous improvement.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of supplier quality management and incoming quality control processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing customer relationships and audits.
- Experience in server, electronics, or related industries is a plus.
- Ability to lead teams globally and work effectively with international stakeholders.
