Job Summary:

Looking for a leadership role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are hiring a Production Testing Manager to lead daily testing operations, optimize processes, and ensure products meet quality and reliability standards. You will manage the testing team, oversee equipment, track key KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and smooth production flow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Testing Operations: Manage daily production testing activities, ensuring products meet rigorous quality, performance, and reliability standards.
  2. New Product Introduction: Work closely with Project Management and Engineering teams to implement test plans, validate new products, and resolve issues during product launches.
  3. Process Improvement: Continuously optimize test processes, reduce cycle times, implement automation, and apply best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  4. Quality & Compliance: Ensure testing procedures comply with ISO, ESD, customer, and regulatory requirements. Support CAPA for any test failures and promote a zero-defect mindset.
  5. Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance of all testing equipment, ensuring timely calibration and implementing robust preventive maintenance schedules to maximize uptime and accuracy.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the testing team, managing manpower allocation, training, and performance. Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  7. Reporting & Data Management: Track and analyze testing KPIs such as yield, defect rates, and throughput. Maintain accurate data in ERP/MES systems and communicate test results and trends to management and stakeholders.
  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely product delivery.

Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field is preferable. Candidates with relevant certifications and around proven engineering managerial experience will also be given strong consideration as an added advantage.
  2. Extensive Experience: Experience in system or server testing—preferably 5 or more years, with around 2 years in a managerial capacity—is preferred. Proven leadership skills would provide added value to the candidate
  3. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with hardware and software validation, burn-in processes, and stress test methodologies is preferred and may provide added value to the candidate.
  4. Specialized Expertise: Preferably, candidates have experience in AI or data center server testing environments, which may provide added value and demonstrate specialized knowledge
  5. Leadership & Communication: Communication, analytical, and leadership skills are beneficial, especially for candidates contributing to team coordination and stakeholder engagement
  6. Project Management Skills: Experience in managing complex testing projects from conception to completion is preferable, with the ability to support on-time delivery and maintain budget and quality standards considered an added advantage.
  7. Problem-Solving & Decision Making: Problem-solving abilities are beneficial, especially for candidates with experience making data-based decisions under pressure to support technical resolution and product quality improvements.
  8. Mentorship & Development: Demonstrated ability to guide and support junior or mid-level testing engineers is preferred, helping to encourage continuous learning and development, which may provide added value to the candidate
