Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Report to upper management and collaborate with internal WH team to achieve goals and overcome obstacles.
2. Create, review and refine shipping SOP/flowchart for ISO and external audit.
3. Monitor efficiency and quality of staffs to complete daily orders in time.
4. Find and resolve common mistakes and errors during daily operation.
5. Coach new hires.
6. Monitor the workload and performance of each teammate and do necessary adjustment and mutual support.
7. Propose both process and system improvement plan to upper management in order to achieve excellence.
8. Supervise teammates to make sure they meet SMC core values -Quality/Productivity/Teamwork/Job Knowledge/Work Environment- Health, Safety& Security/Reliability & Dependability.
 

Qualifications:

1. High School graduation is required. Bachelor’s degree or above is a plus for this position.
2. At least 6Y experience in shipping relevant position in Malaysia.
3. Familiar with INCO term 2020, import/export procedure & customs affairs in Malaysia.
4. Strong knowledge of Customs Valuation, Rules of Origin and Harmonized Tariff Classification.
5. Experienced in ERP(SAP or others) and WMS system.
6. Good Chinese/ Bahasa Malaysia /English ability.
7. Advanced computer skills in MS Office. (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint, etc.)
8. Look into detail, careful, and able to work under pressure and urgent situation.
9. Good interpersonal and communication skill in working with relevant parties.
10. Leadership to drive the team performance.
11. Fair, ethics and integrity.
