Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a Product Engineer responsible for building compelling messaging and partnering with varied team to develop and execute comprehensive and integrated project plans. The candidate is planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

•    Support sales and solution team to expand the company's market share through establishing new customers and supporting existing customers.
•    Managing the projects with sales and solution team by working with different departments to make sure the project can be finished on time 
•    Promote Super Micro's capability of leading crucial projects based on Supermicro products and solutions 
•    Capable with system configuration.
•    Support and co-work with EMEA Computing marketing activities, such as trade exhibition, on-site solution day, workshop and joint event. 
    o    Lead solution and product launches as the outbound marketing expert and spokesperson
    o    Support product launch activities, including tradeshows, conferences, and webinars 

•    Develop interactive training courses aimed at Supermicro sales and channel partners
•    Work closely with internal engineering team to ensure key accounts' expectations and requirements are fulfilled.
•    Co-working with Solution product manager Manage strategic partnerships and associated activities and funding
•    Provide cross-functional feedback and plan executions with engineering, product management, and corporate marketing groups
•    Ensure customer overall satisfaction. Coordinate with cross departments to resolve various issues or concerns in a timely manner during the lifecycle of a project
•    Domestic and international business travel, less than 20% of the time
•    Willing to learn solution and products and also ability to do engineer testing in the future. 

Qualifications:

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 or 3 years’ experience in server/storage or related technology fields
  • Project managing experience is preferred
  • Strong background in the IT sector with hands-on experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in using MS Office systems (MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
     

Skills and experience

  • Outstanding communicator and collaborator 
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or prince2 certificate is a plus
  • Proven experience in developing compelling and differentiated product messaging
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong aptitude for distilling complex technical differentiators into engaging stories
  • High energy, sense of urgency, and passion with a "can do" attitude
  • Willingness to take risks, fail fast, learn, and iterate 
  • Capacity to balance workload, handle cross-department communication, and make informed decisions 
  • Self-motivated and able to make independent decisions, Detail-oriented
  • Talent for identifying opportunities to increase operational efficiency and event marketing effectiveness
