Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager at Supermicro is a key member of the sales team, responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for the company. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow revenue, expand market share, and increase customer satisfaction.
This is a Fixed Term contract for 12 months, maternity cover.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifying new business opportunities and potential customers in the data center, cloud, and enterprise markets.
• Developing and executing sales strategies to win new business and increase revenue.
• Building strong relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and product management, to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
• Conducting market research and analyzing market trends to identify new growth opportunities.
• Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Supermicro's product portfolio and competitive landscape.
• Negotiating contracts and agreements with customers and partners.


• 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the technology industry is required
• Experience working with server or datacentre solutions (preferred)
• Understanding of enterprise computer hardware, software, and datacentre solutions (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage high-value opportunities from qualification to deployment
• A strategic mindset and the ability to develop and implement business plans in line with overall company objectives
