Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for a highly-experienced, successful and proven Strategic Alliance Manager in Europe to own the EMEA relationship with a number of strategic partners, drive adoption and acceleration of these partners portfolio of data center products and solutions thru the sales teams. The candidate should possess the expertise in managing end-to-end sales & marketing processes involving complex, multi-portfolio, large deals. The ideal candidate must have a strong, credible and professional experience from similar type of job within the industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • Approach, build and drive SMC influence, adoption and sales to and thru identified strategic alliance partners
  • Accelerate / Grow sales of strategic alliance partners solutions thru SMC’s EMEA sales org
  • Work closely with other sales and technical resources to achieve set goals
  • Maintain current strategic alliance partner relationships and identifying potential new opportunities internally as well as externally.
  • Continuously develop new sales methods and improve the sales motion through both internally as well as externally
  • Meet assigned SAM goals, objectives and creation of opportunity pipeline as well as organizations overall EMEA revenue growth numbers 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Strategic Alliances roles or similar field in the IT / Datacenter segment 
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field
  • Strong team player
  • Prior experience managing strategic alliances / partners 
  • Prior experience accelerating technology adoption thru various sales motions focused towards manufacturing, corporate enterprise or public/governmental customers
  • Strong persuasive and negotiating skills
  • Extremely proactive, highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Professionalism combined with a passion for creativity
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and diverse culture
  • Professional fluency in English is required, both written and spoken. Additional European language is a plus.
