Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

The production quality engineer is on site at Wistron's factory in Vietnam and responsible for ensuring products meet company standards and customer requirements by overseeing and participating in PCBA quality control processes. These quality control processes include, but are not limited to:

1. Source inspection: The on-site quality engineer can promptly identify and resolve source material quality issues, preventing defective products from entering SMC or the customers, thus reducing costs and rework rates.

2. Roving tour check: real-time monitoring of the production process, identifying and correcting potential quality problems, and ensuring product consistency and stability.

3. Product integrity check: The on-site engineer will inspect the product integrity to prevent the security problem.

4. CM audits: In addition to daily inspections, the engineer also joins or conducts QSA and QPA to evaluate the effectiveness of existing quality control processes and make recommendations for improvement.

5. Production line qualification: qualifying a production line at CM to ensure it consistently produces products that meet your company's quality standards and customer requirements.

6. Model transfer check: Work with QA team, PE team, and CM to qualify the process change and ensure the quality of products.

Qualifications:

1_Education: BSEE, BSME, MSEE, MSME 

2_Strong background and experience with manufacturing, quality assurance, and issue handling. PCBA assembly process experience is preferred.

3_Solid understanding of quality tools such as the 8D report, the Five Whys Tool, CPK (statistical process capability), etc.

4_Solid understanding of the IPC-A-610 specification.

5_Business level or higher communication skills in English.

6_Good communication, self-motivated, committed, positive working attitude, and willingness to learn.

7_Enthusiastic, creative, and persistent to serve the company. 

8_Fluent Chinese is a plus.
