Job Summary:

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is looking for a Sales Director responsible for maintaining the quality, efficiency, and integrity of Supermicro's sales process through various means of marketing activities and working with cross functional teams, including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs. This position evaluates new and existing opportunities for the company's computing solutions and works with prospects to understand their needs and goals -ultimately negotiating the terms of a successful partnership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales win plan tailored to the Healthcare segment, ensuring the achievement and surpassing of sales targets.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, leveraging 10+ years of experience in the Healthcare industry to drive growth.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders in the Healthcare sector, drawing on extensive industry experience to form enduring partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with Healthcare clients, utilizing deep industry insights to understand their unique needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Analyze Healthcare customer needs in the IT hardware and AI workload space and provide tailored solutions, drawing on 10+ years of experience, that align with their specific business objectives.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Supermicro's product offerings and their relevance to Healthcare requirements.
  • Utilize 10+ years of Healthcare industry experience to monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Stay informed about Healthcare industry developments, leveraging years of expertise to remain at the forefront of Healthcare solutions.
  • Implement customer-centric strategies tailored to the Healthcare sector, leveraging extensive experience to enhance satisfaction and foster customer loyalty.
  • Ensure that the Healthcarecustomer experience is optimized throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilizing a wealth of Healthcare industry knowledge, to develop comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the Healthcare segment.
  • Optimize the Healthcare customer experience through effective collaboration with internal teams.
  • Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM systems, drawing on 10+ years of experience, to efficiently manage customer data and sales activities within the Healthcare segment.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports focused on the Healthcare segment to upper management.
  • Provide support and guidance, backed by extensive Healthcare industry experience, to fellow sales associates within the Healthcare segment to collectively achieve objectives.


  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive new business opportunities within the Healthcare sector.
  • Proven track record in Healthcare sales, consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets in the IT hardware and/or AI workload discipline
  • Ability to independently establish win-plans and close opportunities against quota retirement.
  • 12+ years of experience with relevant relationships within the Healthcare industry.
  • Experience using Salesforce and MEDDPICC sales methodology are desired.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Willingness to travel

Salary Range

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
