Job Summary:

The Sr. Manager, Solution Management collaborates a virtual team of product engineers, design engineers, system engineers and FAEs to develop best in class solutions for a global enterprise customer base. The solutions include integrated systems that scale into large scale AI/HPC clusters, Scale-out Storage clusters, Public Cloud Infrastructures, etc. The role provides support to large and complex projects for global enterprises, customers and cloud service providers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Roles and responsibilities

  • Lead an engineering team to design and develop data center solutions based on customer applications such as AI, HPC, Cloud and Scale-out storage, etc.
  • Work with solution architects, product managers, engineers and play a key role in implementation of data center solutions and growing data center revenue.
  • Support pre-sales effort by creating solid solution design proposals.
  • Manage the technical aspects of the solution integration, testing, and implementation of customer technical requirements.
  • Provide technical instructions to integration, testing and deployment teams
  • Play a key role in technical review of pre-sales engineering to post sales integration, testing and deployment, responsible for overall build quality and technical soundness of the customer projects
  • Responsible for recruiting talented solution engineers and architects and expanding the teams capability to meet business growth targets.
  • Responsible for study and training of latest AI and data center technologies to enhance teams overall technical skill and expertise.
  • Responsible for developing team plans and strategies to meet competitions.

Qualifications:

  • BSEE/CS, MSEE/CS with 10+ years relevant experience or equivalent preferred
  • Deep knowledge in data center infrastructures such as Cloud, HPC, AI/ML infrastructures
  • Deep knowledge in data center networking, data center power and cooling technologies
  • Strong knowledge of server technologies, capable of working with CSPs and enterprises to define AI solutions and data center infrastructures
  • Hands-on experience with Nvidia and AMD GPU based deployments are desirable
  • Solid experience in large scale data center projects from design to deployment
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills and the capability of managing very large and complex projects
  • Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
  • Strong ability to lead engineering teams and grow team’s capabilities

Salary Range

$200,000 - $230,000 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
