Job Summary:

We are looking for a Sr. System Debug Engineer to debug and to support customer and other internal deparmtnets for solving puter system issues. In this role, you will work with other departments and provide solutions for the issues and product quality improvement. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Intel low level debugging. Experience using Intel Target Probe (ITP) tool is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze GPU server test logs to assist in identifying potential failure points support the evaluation of suspected components. Hands-on experience in assembling and de-assembling GPU server is preferable and will be considered and added advantage, where operationally required.
• Maintain and update failure logs, serial number (SN) records and related documentation to support failure trend analysis, traceability and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay update with GPU vendor’s guidelines, technical documentation and recommended hardware or software tools. Familiarity or willingness to learn new technologies and debugging methodologies is considered an added value.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including production, RMA, Warehouse, PM, Engineering and other relevant stakeholders, to support operational requirements and timely issue resolution.
• Support system-level debugging and failure analysis activities by working closely with engineering teams to identify potential root causes and recommend appropriate corrective actions, where applicable.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues, providing technical feedback and supporting process optimization efforts.
• Assist in documenting debugging procedures, technical findings and troubleshooting guidelines to support knowledge sharing and continuous process improvement.
• Support the evaluation and verification of hardware components, firmware, or software updates as part of system troubleshooting activities, where required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred. A Master’s degree or equivalent advanced qualification will be considered an added advantage. Candidates with around 5 years of relevant experience in server systems, hardware validation or system debugging are encouraged to apply.
• Experience or familiarity with server or Notebook or Desktop platform, including system operation, configuration or troubleshooting, is preferable and considered an advantage to the candidate.
• Exposure to Motherboard or PCIe device design, debugging, diagnostics or validation activities is desirable and will be considered an added value.
• Good working proficiency in English both written and verbal, is preferred to support technical documentation, failure logs analysis and collaboration with internal teams. Mandarin speaking capability is considered an added advantage, particularly when supporting cross-functional or regional stakeholders especially from Taiwan.
• Ability to handle server equipment and support rack installation activities, where operationally required, is preferable. This role may involve standing for extended periods during system installation or validation activities, in accordance with company safety guidelines and ergonomic practices.
• Experience or familiarity with Linux OS, including basic system operation or troubleshooting, is desirable and viewed as an added advantage.
• Working knowledge or exposure to server hardware components (e.g., CPU, GPU, memory, storage, PCIs devices, power supplies and networking modules) is preferred.
• Willing to learn new technologies, products, and debugging methodologies, while continuously developing technical knowledge, is considered an added advantage.
